![]() As we were developing the game we were working with Sony. How early in the making of the game did that quick loading between worlds become its defining feature?įrom the very beginning. It would have really fallen flat had people thought, “Eh – smoke and mirrors.” We weren’t sure that people were going to pick up on that. ![]() So when we were showing off a sequence where Ratchet is going through rift after rift, we were loading entire levels in under a second and there's gameplay in that too you have control. When we came out, there was a lot of internal debate as to whether people would understand what we were doing and why it was special. Also, every time we show anything, I'm concentrating on the bugs that got through I see every little thing.
